After the recent incident, it would be hard to understand, I suppose, for many of non-Japanese, or some global minded Japanese nation, I have been "cast out" from 1st graders moms community in my condo. Well, though it is one of the big minority of our condo com, I must say, it is not really good feeling. More over, considering the fortunate that I am related more to the major numbers of this condo, I know I should not give it a slightest consideration.
You might think, why should REI and her son be blamed and cast out for they are the victims.
Most of the Japanese do not have faith, do not believe in anything, not even in their self dignity.
At the bottom of the line, that recent bulling incident was not really caused by the children's harshness, it is the moms' lack of consideration, comprehension upon the community goodness, and respect for others. They all can relate to that, some how.
I think I have seen many Japanese unable to apologise. When they feel they are really to blame, they work so hard to create excuses that their victims are more to blame and they don't feel shame to actually accuse the victims.
Well, anyway, my son, made this,
And said....
"Mom, I make this for you, because, you cry and red eye. I am sad. No worries, I am your best friend."
This is exactly what he said. In English!
He knows that if he speaks English, that makes me happier.
He is such a successful entertainer!
And he sang a phase of the song "You've got a friend" by James Tyler in English. And he said, "Mom, remember that there are two that never stop loving you. One is God and another is me."
Yes, son. You are quite right!
Sometimes... you get be taught by your own children.
