People get surprised when I say "I have almost no hobby but reading books and cooking."
But that is really true.
I love reading and I truly enjoy cooking at home.
Another cooking that I do often is Cooking My Son's Rough Intention^^

I wrote this article some times ago in Japanese.
Now I think I should write that also in English.

「意」means "intention"
「気」means "feelings" or "emotion" basically.
When these 2 letters comes together as 意気 means "intention came from emotion".
We often use this like... "That is 意気 you need to have!" turns to be "That's the spirit!"

In Japan, there is a word that consists these 2 letters, that is "生意気" and means "Saucy"
The added letter in front is "生" that means, "alive" or "fresh" but also "raw", "fresh" and "uncooked".
In Japanese language, "uncooked intention that came from emotion" stands for audaciousness.

On the other hand.... in Japanese language and also in Chinese language, they say "cooking" as "調理" that is consisted by 2 letter that mean "controlling / balancing" and "reason".

In my illustration below, I am "cooking" "意気" with a pan of "考" = "thinking" on the fire of "heart/compassion"

That is another cooking I do and I do it professionally.
When you do something professionally you don't always enjoy, right?
